So, Philistine Outpost is probably one of my new favorite cards. I just realized that you can discard a generic Philistine from your deck to satisfy the cost, then use its ability to search for the Philistine you discarded.
Imagine this scenario:
Opponent attacks. I use PO to discard Philly Armorbearer to search discard pile for Philly Armorbearer, and exchange him with a Philistine in my deck. On opponent's next turn, I do the same thing. And do it again. So I can search for any Philistine for any block, and if one gets discarded, I can just use Philistine Armorbearer to get him, then sacrifice one evil card to get PA back.
Hooray for the Philistines!

I figured that out the moment I saw the card... oh well

I agree that Philistine Outpost is amazing! I also like how it can discard Manasseh so I can use King Amon's SA while gaining a Philistine to block with later. Hooray for black Site lock recussion!

Yeah, PO is awesome. I also love Overwhelmed by Philistines though. It's part of my favorite combo ever.
Philistine + Philistine Chariots and Horses + Overwhelmed by Philistines + Darius' Decree is active + Opponent's ET

I thought this was obvious the first time I saw it. Wasn't that like the intention of the card?
Well anyway, yes, this card is pretty amazing. I'm still not totally confident about Philistines in T1, though.

black is weak. alone. if combined with the powerz of crimson using ashdod and ishbibenob... not so much....

I just saw it used in a slightly different way. :P
