Lower numbers also helps against Trap of the Devil, one of my favorite defensive cards. In that case I think you want to stay under 14, but 14 is sometimes enough to win a FBTN battle for you.
Well, most winning ANB Type 2 decks that I saw combined it with FBTN heroes, so I'm not sure that it's not a threat. Then again, having a TTOTD to defend against those decks wouldn't work anyways since it has been shuffled by the time of the rescue
