Attack with Habakkuk, play The Meal in Emmaus and activate Holy Grail.  It'd be good combined with TGT, cause you'd play grapes, then walk in with TGT heroes (if there are less than 2 ec's of the same brigade in territory)

You shouldn't need The Meal In Emmaus - you can use Holy Grail during battle (just not on the EC in battle) under normal circumstances.

Really? I've been scolded for trying to do that before.

If that's true, this combined with Habakkuk alone is a cool combo.

How about David's Harp/Book of the Covenant active w/ I am Patience and I am Justice on BoC. Attack with Habakkuk. Assuming you lose, discard the blocker, a WC EC in territory and convert a non-WC EC. After two turns of that, your TGT Ladies should have no problems for several turns.

When is "after battle" (Battle Resolution, Discard Phase, etc.)?  (Real question: Does Habakkuk's discard SA activate before his negate ends?)

One issue with Guardian's combo is IAP and IAJ take place at the end of the turn, at which point Habukkuk's SA has ended and the ECs might be protected.

I thought "end of turn" meant battle resolution, which is still during battle (meaning the protection would still be in effect).

You can use Holy Grail during battle.  You can only convert ECs in the territory though.
