Step One: Place Coat of Many Colors on Jeremiah.
Step Two: Attack with Jeremiah with Hidden Treasures active.
Step Three: Play whatever you want to kill your opponent's territory.

You can do the same thing with Habakkuk.
May you prosper greatly!

Same thing with a converted Paul, or any prophet with coat placed on him.  Is there something special about jerremiah or habbakuk that I am not seeing?

The thing I don't get about Jeremiah is that his own ability negates his own protection fort, Obadiah's Caves, but Habakkuk's does not.

That was done on purpose by the playtesters:

Quote
This [Jeremiah's SA] negates the “protect from capture” ability on Obadiah’s Caves.  Jeremiah should be able to be captured by Dungeon of Malchiah (story related), and he prophesied during the destruction of Judah when really no one was safe.

Aaron doesn't negate protection.  AoCP and ACiB are NT.  Conclusion: not the same.

i think playing almost any card pre-block is considerably better than negating protection.

yeeeeah, but the point is hg/paul and aaron/table dont require an extra combo piece (more time), nor the risk of having a placer hero get negated in battle. dont you also have to keep activating coat on jeremiah anyways, since it activates and is discarded? that requires even more turns to set up if you plan on using him more than once.

Table isn't even close because it is limited by testament.  Paul is good but is still limited by how he doesn't negate protection.  The whole point is to devastate your opponent's territory.  You can't do that without negating the protection.

To your point about reusing, Elishana can easily place from the discard pile as can the other card placers.  Not that it really needs to be done more than once though since the idea is to wipe out most of what they've got to begin with the first time you do it.
May you prosper greatly!

If a deck is based on this and does competitively well then say he's broken. As of now... I don't think he is. Also, why not convert Herod Agrippa II to a purple hero (king)... much easier and now you can play aocp WITHOUT coat. If they block with fbtn they're doomed, if they don't, ezekiel's stick + Ethiopian treasurer + aocp, and you can do this immediately with The Throne of David.

There, I shared the fullness of my turtle deck.  ::) ::)

Herod doesn't have the ability to play before an EC is in battle but I like the idea of converting him to use a special ability.

That's what The Throne of David is for. You get the first enhancements (you can use coat of mail for warrior class abilities). So yeah, they block, but it doesn't do them good cause they won't have initiative and he has the cannot be negated ability of negating protection. And of course AOCP is cannot be negated.  ;D

the reason it isnt competitive nor broken is because it requires far too many pieces. t2 maybe, but never t1.

Isn't all of this assuming the opponent is not holding powerful cards in hand anyway?

Except Throne of David only let's you play an O.T. enhancement. :(

Right, your OT enhancements is ezekiel's stick to band to Ethiopian treasurer. Then he can play ANY enhancement, without letting them get initiative.
