Just wanted to see what colors people don't like these days.  I find some brigades fun to play but they might not win tournaments, so please keep this in mind.  I guess I'm wondering what colors you find the most "boring".  Keeping in mind that you could use all fortresses, artifacts, covenants, sites etc that you want to, but that your heroes and ECs must be single color (or dual if one color matches the single theme), which deck would you be LEAST likely to pick?

My least favorite good brigade right now:  Purple.  I like James + John, Reach, AOCP, ET, etc, but it just feels too scripted for me.  Royalty theme (and its heroes) doesn't excite me very much.  And it doesn't seem TxP added that much to this color.  Runner up for least favorite is Red, but TxP gave red some awesome cards to compliment the warriors theme, in my opinion.

My least favorite evil brigade right now:  Gold.  I know TxP tried to change this, but it still feels like "Egyptians or nothing" to me.  And among Egyptians, it seems that the deck discard theme, while fun, has no chance of winning.  Runner up for least favorite is Grey, because my grey defense has always been splash capture, and the new set didn't change that.

Thanks for your feedback.

Hmmmm

Offense: I would hav to go with purple because everyone will play the same thing with it - either royalty or AoCP recursion(involves other colors but goes with that theme) I agree with stefferweffer on this being scripted

Defense: Definitely brown simply because the only reason I would play brown would be to play Haman's Plot which is nasty considering I can't keep trading for 50 of them like Soul Seeker  :P :P

Life is a day that doesn't last for long.

Offense (playing with): Gold - about the only way to make this successful is to pair it with Abom, and for an offense to need an EVIL enhancement to be playable is really just sad.

Offense (playing against): White - about the only way to make this work is TGT.  And I HATE TGT!!!!!

Defense (playing with): Grey - not enough territory protection to stop TGT (Holy Grail anyone?), and too many offenses are protected from it's best strength (capture).  Z-temple, and characters that are used all the time, make undependable.

Defense (playing against): None - it is so boring to play against decks that don't have any defense.  Redemption is meant to be a game where all your cards are useful, and if your opponent doesn't have any defense, then your offense is really meaningless.  No battles ftl :(

Least fun offense to use: Purple. There are so few usable Enhancements.

Least fun defense to use: Pale Green. Idk why, I just don't enjoy using it.

Least fun offense to face: TGT. 'Nuff said

Least fun defense to face: Standalones. *yawn* can we get some creativity here?
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

It is because this tread is basically about the most BORING brigades.  Because TGT is the only real reason to play white & EVERY TGT deck looks exactly the same, it is well. . . frankly. . . BORING to play against!

Least fun defense to use: Grey.  Very little that is useful.

Least fun offense to face: I still don't like playing battle by the numbers.  This offense is so simple and uncreative a 4 year old could play it.  That being said, there are good counters...

Least fun defense to face: Orange, even though I love playing it, I hate playing against it.
Gates of Hell is by far the best card in the game.  No questions asked.

I guess the question is, is it a "pure" TGT deck, meaning only white women or mostly only TGT people themselves?  I don't count throwing TGT & the two white women as a TGT deck.  I've done that several times to add to the effect of my deck, but wouldn't consider it a TGT deck!

There is no such thing as an effective 'Pure TGT' deck (IMO) - You can't clear enough ECs that way. My deck uses TGT as its main offensive force, not a splash to grab a few occasionally.

my TGT babylonian deck can do pure tgt for offense.

Least fun (Defense) (Play): Pale Green, I think its because it STALLS it doesn't stop offences, I think that is why pol doesn't like it either.

Least fun (Defense) (Face): Stand alones/Hp spam (Online)

Least fun (Offense) (Offense) (Play): None. As defensive as I am, I really enjoy offense a lot and learn by using them (Even tgt ;), though mine focuses on defense)

Least fun (Offense) (Face): Purple.

lol.....I remember those late night after RTS game discussions.......good times. I enjoy the challenge of building a deck that does not use a conventional defense to stop an offense but is still effective in doing just that, stopping an offense. You just brought back many memories Prof, thanks a million.

Good memories for me too.  I miss our games together, and look forward to the day when we can start playing again :)

Good Brigade (Play): Teal. Didn't hop on the Priests bandwagon and get the "unstoppable" combos (Z's Temple, COUGH COUGH)

Good Brigade (Face): Teal. Seems everyone these days has a Priests deck that I can't touch, no matter what "D" I play.....

Evil Brigade (Play): Pale Green or Orange. Not enough support that individually, these brigades are the worst (IMO).

Evil Brigade (Face): Gold. Defeat somebody by discarding EVERYTHING except their starting hand and Lost Souls? Like playing a 10-year-old in Modern Warfare 2 and telling him he can only use the USP..... WITHOUT STOPPING POWER!

Least fun offense to use: FBTN anything. So boring to play....

Least fun defense to use: Solid Brown it really stinks right now and always has. Standalone is also just flat out boring.

Least fun offense to face: TGT

Least fun defense to face: Abom/Site lockout (The same defense). The ability to stop your opponent from getting souls like that by getting rid of arts and access sites with a defense that can be less then 10 cards + sites is op'd to me.

I think I like almost every brigade.  But then again all the brigades are better in T2.
