Title: is there anyway to band a green hero to Jacob or Claudia?
Post by: Warrior_Monk on June 26, 2010, 12:35:31 PM
I like posting my questions in the title. I need it for an epic combo, but extremely hard to pull off.

Best way is Armorbearer to Maharai to Claudia.

I don't think there's anyway to do it directly off the top of my head.

There's no way to do it directly. RDT's suggestion is the best one.

that's good enough for me, although I'd rather use Jacob.
now to build a deck based off the combo...if I pull it off once, I'll be happy.

thank you!

If the combo is this complex anyway, why not just TiR Jacob?

My guess:  "Creation of the World" play?

I was just thinking that the other day...how can I pull every Genesis hero out of my deck at once...thus shrinking the deck and making other cards more accessible.

I went the other way...how can I get a blue hero to play that card without losing Initiative.

Creation of the World is an enhancement. I need to pull this combo off every turn...

Love of Rachel on Rachel gives you banding for the rest of the game.

Band Jacob to Seraph to a green prophet.

I need Jacob's play next clause. the Love of Rachel idea would work if it wasn't so hard to pull off...I might try it.

If you are playing with creation of the world in a T2 deck can you pull out copies of Gen. heroes and then have to discard them or are even allowed to search for them?

Jacob to Seraphim (Warriors "band to green hero) would work.

Good. Giving that combo to RDT so he may ownzorz the newbs is the least I could do after stealing his RNRS points for t1 2p at MN State :).

And I guess I can then claim that the amazingly awesome deck I built destroyed teh newbs in the largest regional tournament without actually playing it :).

I had it worked out how it was possible. You just found an easier way to make it viable ;).

Yes. You get partial credit. RDT gets bonus points for actually using it.

If it's a combo you can wait a little for, Gathering of Angels is always the sure way to do it. That's a direct Green to one of them. But yeah, the Maharai thing is good.

I couldn't. plus I'm still not sure the combo works.

But you'll be soooo cool if its legal and it works!

Just bring two decks, my epicness comboness deckness and then your normal one. Ask if its legal after deck check is over so noone could possibly add counters :). Let me know if you need to borrow any cards to make sure you have two decks, I'd be more than willing to lend them if it means you'll play my combo :D.
