Title: Is FBTN still viable?

A) Yes

B) No

C) Yes with only couple splashed in.

D) Yes in a combo deck (Jacob+CoTH ect.)

FBTN characters will always be viable. TSA will still win more battles than he loses, etc. However, FBTN as a main strategy won't see very much success. FBTNB will always have potential, but even that is outshined by plain old CBN banding + lots of potential ItB/Battle Winners that you see in a Samuel deck.

One member of our playgroup has played FBTNB forever.  He's quite good, he got 7 in Nats and 2 in state.  However, his deck is getting a little outdated with all the speed that Samuel and Genesis has to offer. 

FBTN: not really

FBTNB: yes

After winning NC Reginals T-1 multi with a FBTNB Deck I come to the conclution that FBTNB is better than FBTN.


FBTN: bleah

I'd say yes. Just have a genesis Egyptians defense, because you're going to need a speed mechanic.
