Activate Hidden Treasures and make a rescue attempt with a lone Green Prophet to play Sword of the Lord. In the side battle, choose to control Nebuchadnezzar* to search your deck for a crimson O.T. EC and add it to the original battle.

This works, right? Nebuchadnezzar doesn't say to add the searched card to the current battle.

*36.   CARD NAME:  Nebuchadnezzar [Prophets]
CARD TYPE: evil character
CLASS: warrior
IDENTIFIERS: Babylonian King, Fought Earthly Battle
STATS: 6/8
BRIGADE COLOR: Crimson
SPECIAL ABILITY: If no Daniel Hero is in play, search deck for an O.T. crimson card and add it to hand or battle.  Cannot be negated.
SCRIPTURE: same as prophets
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

Pretty sure it defaults to current battle.

Anytime a card says battle, it refers to the current battle. So a card that would remove all cards from battle only does the side battle (if played there). I can't see how this would be different.

I thought I had heard that before, but I don't know where the rule for it is, so I thought I'd give it a try. Oh well, it would have been fun.

Not to mention you can't have any evil cards on the good side of a rescue attempt.  I believe this was discussed ad nauseum here months ago.

I wasn't going to put it on the good side; notice the title of this thread.

Yeah but since you were making the rescue attempt, if your nebby pulled an OT EC and it went to the original battle, wouldn't go to your "good" side?

Nope, it would be a blocking EC. But thats only if neb could put the EC in a different battle, he can only add to the one he's in.

No it would go to your side of the battle. So it wouldn't work even if it worked in the first place.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.
