If you used the card imprisoned, here is a neat trick.

Block with a low character. Play Imprisoned (Di)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Gold • Ability: 2 / 2 • Class: None • Special Ability: Negate protect abilities on good cards and Artifacts. Capture a Hero. If used by a Herod, this cannot be prevented by a good card. •

This will negate any protection artifacts in play including lampstand. This will allow you to don either lampstand itself or the pesky artifact hiding under it. Gamebreaking? Not really, but fun, none the less.

Couldn't you just you use the multi colored 2/4 GH starter deck card.

casting lots (di) does the same thing and is easier to pull off.

but the card doesn't NEED a herod. It can be played on anyone.
