No, my opponent had Samuel, I had canaanites for defense.
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

Hey!  I resemble that remark!

Phillies are still decent, but not the level of awesome they used to be.

Ring Wraith TROLLOLOLed with Philies at Nats, don't forget his awesomeness. Albeit not a winning awesomeness, but a second place awesomeness.

Samuel decks (at least the kind I run/have seen) include lots of Ahimelek. I would love for you to try blocking with Goliath.
Yeah. People at our tourneys include Ehud just for that. Lol they've used it plenty of times too...
Asahel would be a better choice, as he has the double purpose of banding to Ishmaiah.

1. It's a new year, and Phillies pretty bad this year. I'm on the bandwagon Gabe mentioned earlier.
2. To be perfectly honest, I think the deck would have done much better in better hands. I shouldn't have tied the two games with it, and I never should have played it against RDT.
3. I got third.
4. Demons were probably the best part of that defense. Phillies were mainly for early game. Falolen Warrior + Bringing Fear + Wrath came in handy end game, but otherwise demons carried the team.

Is this normal?  I've been thinking the same thing (about my deck) since nats.

Westy is just bad though. I'm like 13-0 against him in the two most recent seasons.

But he beat me, and I beat you.  Does that make the world implode?

Except that he is protected from return abilities...

But Goliath also adds another hero to battle, regardless of return.

I think a lot of it is playstyle choices. In hindsight, I probably would have done something different in a given situation, and somebody else probably would have made the right decision, but then there's a lot of other choices I made that most people wouldn't that was very helpful. It's impossible to be Gabe perfect.

At least I don't make mistakes like playing SoG + NJ when Lampstand is active when you know they have SoG + NJ and they're ahead of you and you have a Mayhem in your hand.
Also, who has more RNRS points?  :-*

Good to know, I didn't realize that.

Who has more World Series rings, Jorge Posada or Albert Pujols?

In my opinion, it should have been Return to add another, but what do I know...

Irrelevant. Baseball players don't get to build their own team. We get to build our own decks. We're more like managers and coaches than players.
