Artifact Combo

Ok I have no idea if this would work so it's a combo / question.

Say I activate Burisl shroud in my artifact pile and Iron Pan on Zek. I then make a rescue (assuming BS is a protect ability) and end then do a large variety of things to deactivate IP. Is my opponent now restricted from attacking me again because BS is no longer being negated.

If this works it think it's pretty awesome. Hope it is legal :)

If you played provisions on Ezekiel would that also set IP aside after your rescue attempt allowing BS so stop opponents rescue attempt?

Then when he comes back make another and CM yourself to get another stall block?

And the Play As is correct.
