I was playing with Given Over to Egypt when a thought came to me. Amalekites' Slave is very common, I see it in almost every deck I play against. Would it be worth it to have Given Over to Egypt in your deck even if you weren't playing with Egyptians since Amalekites' Slave is an Egyptian?

No.

I only see that being played with egyptians so I wouldn;t think so but somebody will always try and bend the rules a little lol

When you have a card that needs a support character to be used, you simply must have at least two of those characters in the deck, most likely more, but depending on what the cards are. That's why cards that say, "Do X to this card," are pretty much never a good idea to use.

Last Friday at the tournament I was hosting, one player was decimating another with Given Over to Egypt. I read the card and realized that it works even if your Egyptian is a Hero. Midwives and Pharaoh's Daughter are both Egyptian Heroes...

sweet. I didn't know that. are those the only two egyptian heroes?

Egyptians weren't known for hospitality.
