Abom versus Speed when Abom is buried in your deck?

My 50 card Abom deck couldn't get to five lost souls yesterday for one main reason - by the time I got Abom in my hand my opponent was almost decked out.  I was going up against "Super Zeb/Servant", and I did managed to discard the tabernacle and everything in it in time to remove Zebulun's protection.  Confusion of Mind + Sites kep Watchful Servant at bay.

But my biggest problem was just getting Abom so late, when the whole deck is based around that card.  I almost made a battle challenge just hoping he would confusion it into my discard pile so I could retrieve it with Goat with Horn.

Anyway, have other people found that a deck that depends so much on Abom will fail if you can't get that card into opp's territory while they still have a deck?  I ended up being site-locked with all 4 of my lost souls in Bab Banquet Hall, and his two lost souls in Nazareth!  I couldn't Abom anything anymore because he had no draw pile left.  Grrrr.

Rawrlolsauce!

Zerubabbel's Temple + Joiada, son of Elishiab + Feast of Trumpets.

Hur also works, but Feast is definitely the preferable method.

You have to have more options. Someone using Confusion also uses Forgotten History...

But my biggest problem was just getting Abom so late, when the whole deck is based around that card.

in the earliest versions of trying to play this deck, I ran cards like Search and and Great Faith (off of The Magi getting Gifts or Water Jar).
Then, with the addition of the force draw cards and Nazzy I just went with luck and drawing which i still dont agree with even to the point of playing with the Pigs LS so they dont draw off my battle winners. plus it combos with Feast of Trumpets.

so...I would say this is the delima that most us ABOMB players face is in getting to that card as quick as possible.
I try to play with 50 cards max to try to help.

It also seems that i usually end up shooting my opponents heros compared to clearing out thier defense.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

A train of IaC->Zaccheus->PO->Discarded Abom-> Amon or Goat is the fastest way there barring Naz. In other words, if you get IaC or Zach or PO early you're in business.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I fail to see how Primary Objective would fit an Abomb deck.  ;)

Philistine Outpost to discard Abomb and recur with Goat- one of my favorite plays of the deck.
