Title: Eli and his sons
Post by: Ironisaac on February 27, 2017, 10:57:55 AM
Rescue attempt with Awasn and exchange to eli. search deck for his sons. hopefully gen inish. if not, eli's sound advice. Play sword against sword, cbn with awasn. choose the blocker to fight hophni banded to phineas. discard all cards in the side battle. very difficult to negate, probably wins a soul, unless they were banded into battle.

Seems vastly inferior to just using Lions instead.  Lions is just as hard to negate as Eli's sons, plus you lose 0 ECs instead of 2.  That's a steep cost just to get around demons (which often band anyways).

Also, Nebuchadnezzar and Esau can both search out Lions (and if Nebby is brought into the side battle, he can add Lions straight to battle).

:dunno: I know, but i liked how you could search for them with eli. I would use lions in most situations too, but this just seemed like a more fun option imo.

If you're running Pale Green instead of Brown or Crimson, this is certainly a legit option.
