There's a new something, but it's not a card type.

Can't be art for the back of the card, then they'd HAVE to be played in sleeves.

Maybe a new card design? Like the ones Gabe posted a while ago..... Although we've seen some cards, and they're normal.

Thats a good idea. Those would be amazing for teams. We could be manipulative and get our opponent's DQ'd for not speaking in English :D.

If you buy an entire booster box of Disciples, what would you guess the probability of getting nearly one of every Disciple card would be?

Less than 25% based on the TEXP boxes I have opened/seen opened. Probably a lot lower.

Unless you get 2 nearly identical boxes...  I think I'll buy one of every card and then maybe get a few boosters just for kicks...

No. I am saying the odds of a complete set of disciples in one box will be extremely low.

We get 4 Disciples cards per pack.  There are 24 packs in a box.  That gives us 96 Disciples cards per box.  The set has 115 cards so it will take 29 packs or 1 box and 5 packs to make a complete set if you don't open any duplicates.  I'll guess that it's going to take 2 boxes to complete a set.

thats pretty much the same odds as txp, and i was missing quite a few cards for a set from 2 boxes worth. i think 3 will make a whole set, most definately.

That's more like what I was aiming at... Has Rob, or whoever is in charge of packaging the booster boxes, shed any light on approximately how many duplicate packs will be in a booster box?  I'd like to get one of each card from the set, but I enjoy opening booster packs.

Yes, there is much pleasure in opening booster pack. The joy of opening the packages, scanning through the cards, and the thrill of not knowing what you'd get!  +1

Use and abuse heriod's dungian.  My herods deck has some withdraw abilities (especially the one that kicks all male heroes out of battle) and uses the herod that captures all withdrawing heroes.  Also, banding across brigades is very important (especially since my deck uses three brigades).  A little trick to help against garden tomb is to put self in KOTW.

Of course, my deck is pre Di.  I only got a little chance to improve my deck before my video card went wacko.
