If you're being attacked, play doubt and grapes of wrath for an unstoppable aotu-block.

Unless I'm missing something, using Doubt give no advantages that you wouldn't have by using a normal EC...

Doubt:
Type: Grim Reaper • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Place in any territory. When played, this card becomes an orange brigade 0/12 Evil Character until end of turn. • Identifiers: Generic OT Genderless (not Human, not Demon) • Verse: Deuteronomy 28:66

actually it does. normal characters can b sniped off from territory.  you play them both simultaneously, and the battle's over. like that. plus you don't burn thru one of ur EC's  and three nails + spiritual 4-square don't stop it either.

it doesn't matter which EC you use because you just need one in battle.

Well, I don't think you can technically play them at the same time because Doubt must be placed in territory before it is placed in battle (and thus can also be sniped).  Besides, as Redemption99 said it doesn't matter what EC you have.

Cant you place Doubt in your territory just before you block, and pick that to be your EC.

This would make a difference if they ET + AoCP, and clean house in your territory. Just set Doubt down after the fireworks and proceed to grape him.

It is nice to just block with a guy that would be discarded anyway. An even better choice is to block with an archer to snipe a dude and then play Grapes for no additional cost. ;D

Couldnt you place Doubt in your opponents territory (as long as they dont use orange brigade) at the beginning of your turn, then attack for a LS and use a card like Obedience of Noah or Ehud that lets you choose the Evil character your opponent uses to block. Then you choose Doubt as the blocking evil character for your opponent and they wont be able to lay any enhancements on Doubt since they do not play orange. All you would have to do is beat a defense of 12. Is this a good idea or no? lol

Yes you can legally do that. Just hope they dont have any orange.

Actually for obedience of Noah you can place it in your own territory. But I think Ehud says male.... does he?

my favorite grapes play is banding my gomer to one of my opponents ec's, then playing grapes on their ec. :)

Even better is using the crimson Archer to snipe a hero, then band to opponent's most powerful WC EC and hopefully do some damage, then Grapes that EC and shuffle your archer back. :)

I prefer my archer to their archer to their supa ec then using that to kill it.
