Nebby+swft horses. Block, play great inage then draw two and play battle winner. Good by hero and their offense ;D

I like winged lion banded to neby-add lurking into battle-banded to  Nergal+horses+ Baal worship+unownation+gomer banded  to spirit of temptation banded to lots daughters. Just see if you can defeat my 25/32 CBC band. Winged lion-Nebuchadnezzer-lurking-Nergal-swift horses -baal worship-unown nation-gomer-spirit of temptation-lots daughters..... think about it.

Battle winner gets rid of hero in battle. Battle ends so great image's ability discards all opponent's heroes who were not in battle (on phone so some one else can post the actual ability)

Does this include draw piles too, since technically those Heroes aren't in the FOB.

And, it's alright, I looked up GI's SA. Pretty sweet.

correct me if I'm wrong, but Nebby's search would take affect before Swift Horses, which would cause Swift Horses to interrupt GI.

Yeah, removing characters from the battle does not end the battle.

dominants and artifacts are an exception. doesn't 2K Horses and Forgotton History interrupt Archer's ongoing ability, causing it not to activate?

Yes, because Forgotten History ends the battle before the ability can reactivate.

okay, supposing instead of Head of Gold, you used Belshazzar's Banquet.  would this be different, since the evil character is gone and Great Image cannot activate?

I can respect that just make sure to not sacrifice effectiveness for obscurity. A good obscure card can really throw the game in your favor but if you force yourself to sacrifice better cards for them, then it gets risky.

Card has still been played and takes effect. Unless he plays something like Deceit of Sapphira  because then there would be no character for GI to activate on.
