Because playing solitaire, no matter how fun or difficult, isn't within the spirit and/or goal of the game (from Rob's point of view)
Then why do we still have TGTspeed?
Fun and Fellowship.

Its not my decision but i say this: If we have TGT which is easy, and pwns, then how can we not have this which is difficult and hard to pull off?

Because TGT doesn't stop your opponent from having a turn.

CTR+Nazareth will be nasty!   ;)

I still claim dibs on this combo, I told rawrlolsauce about it a few days ago.  :P
He came up with it over a month ago so  :P

*end sarcasm* with TGT, a rescue attempt still must be made every turn.  When this gets going, there's no way to stop it.

actually, there is, but I remedied it for the TEAMS deck. they can Soggy and NJ the thorns. killed me both times the people expected the combo. had I thrown in a Jacob and Paladin (the Fighter), I would have been fine and more likely to win.

Now that we have Nazareth, it would be really cool if they remove all the erratas on ANB and just create a new T2 category for tournaments that is for ANB decks only.

CTR+Nazareth will be nasty!   ;)

Personally I liked the combo to rescue 7 in one turn using P.O. or using The Long Day and Ambush the City but this one wasn't bad either.

Of course I would have thought this was not legal to begin with: I was sure I had seen a ruling about not being immune to your own alignment over a year ago but I think that might have been lost, I also thought that ANB just skipped the end of battle, the discard phase and the opponent's turn to jump straight to your next turn.

But since they seem to say that ANB actually allows you to finish and resolve your battle phase, then I wonder what else you could do.  Have you thought about combining Hospitality of Martha? Di with ANB?  If you had a way to play 2 enhancements then Hospitality would protect everything, the banding would go wait at the end of order of operations, and you would then play ANB.  Hospitality has already activated and isn't negated so would you then be able to band in one of your heros from territory?

At a minimum it turns ANB into a large draw card.

Also, if you don't skip ahead but actually end the battle, then do you also go through your discard phase?  If you do then when making an opponent play it he would have to discard down to 8 before beginning his new turn but you'll be fine with a 16 card hand.

This also makes me question if you place multiple enhancements, what order do they activate in?

you skip the discard phase. the errata reads: Shuffle blah blah blah. End the Battle. End the Turn. Draw 8 new cards. you may start a new turn.

actually, I just looked it up and it currently says: Shuffle blah blah blah. End the Battle. Every player draws 8.  End the Turn.  you may start a new turn.

So it sounds like the discard phase is there as much as the end of battle is.  Of course it never mattered till now.

You could be referring to MJB's ignoring yourself thing. Or not, I'm not too familiar with it.
Chris Bany seemed to support that ANB forfeits the rescue attempt, but if that were the case cards like Forgotten History would also.

I agree there could still be some potential for ANB. I'm just afraid it won't be worth it with those nasty disciples counters.

does ANB forfeit the rescue bcuz if it does then it ruins a great deck plan where you only ANB the opponent.
Retired?
