Which is better in a Assyrian/Magician Defense Covenant with Death or Confusion of Mind?

If you can find that CoD dosen't hurt you that much then it is the far better card. The problem is it nerfs you too. I have played with both and CoD has done much more for me than CoM ever did.

Alright the only problem I have with CwD is that it'll shut down my characters too. It's great I know cause it stops the use of territory class and weapon class outside of battle too. I most like to go with CoM since it'll only hurts my opponent and they either have to dis 2 good enhancements or a lamb icon to get rid of it since DoN cant kill it do to it;s CBN status.

DoN can kill both of them, they are just CBN for that phase. If DoN is played in a prep phase and then thye start an Ra then the curse is no longer active.

and as to what you said about it hurting you, thats why I said it depends on how dependedt you are on your characters abilities.

CoM is ok, but most offenses can survive if you play it, and it has enough counters.  CwD is like a nuke, that only has a couple of counters, and destroys entire defenses as well as offenses.

Its a decent card but the best part its a 0/6 which is SUPER nice when you have CoD up. Never underestimate 0/6 or 0/7 cards they can save you in a pinch. Im my old Magician deck I would never actually use CoM as a Art I would always use it as a enhans. Also if you going on the larger side of a deck random cards like Wizards are REALLY nice the fact that they are 6/7 and when you have CoD up you can usually play one of your huge defense enhans and get your self a block. Oh and dont forget to use Five Foolish Virgins and Carelessness both stop Gtomb and have HUGE defense.

Otherwise, Disturbing Sam's ability is useless.

I dabbled with the card in about 4 games. I never did get to capture anyone.
