OK here's the compiled Deck.
I'm at 60 Cards right now. I could go up to 63 or down to 56, I would love to go down but I haven't a clue as what to cut.
10 Doms: Sog, NJ, AotL, Grapes, Mayhem, Burial, DoN, FA, CM, GoYS
7 Souls: YOU PICK EM!
3 Red Sites: Media x3
4 Green Sites: Samaria: x4
3 Forts: High Places, Gate of Samaria, Obadiah's Caves
3 Arts: HHI, Shroud, HT
4 Curses: Plagued with diseases, RBD, CwD, Unkown nation
3 Green Heroes: Isaiah, Micah, King Hezekiah
2 Silver heroes: Seraph w/ Live Coal, Cherubim,
6 Enhancements: Live Coal, Isaiah’s call, Visions, Sword of the Lord, Provisions, Brass Serpent
6 Brown Evil Characters: Zeresh, Haaman, Uzzah, King Ahab, King Omri, King Jereboam I, King Nadab.
1 Brown/Black Evil Characters: Jezebel
1 Brown/Orange Evil Characters: Ram with Two horns
1 Brown/Gold Evil Characters: Ammy Slave
6 Brown Enhancements: Zeresh Advises Haaman, Plot, Gib Trick, Broken Cisterns, Taking Naboth's vineyard, Korah's rebellion.
t's pretty massive, I know. I figured it could be paired with a small green offense to start side battles. The Persians set aside/discard guys to whittle down the offense. While with High places you can drop down Broken Cisterns to decrease their heroes. You can also use High places to lock them out with land purchase during your prep phase, or a taking Naboth's vineyard to steal their access.
What I'm trying to accomplish here is to stop Sam before he enters battle. I'm just trying to prevent him from making rescues. I've thrown in everything I can think of, territory destruction, decrease, site-lock, anti sam arts, and still I still don't think I did anything.
The offense is really to support the defense using Sword of the Lord and Visions I can use my characters to cause even more havoc in my opponent's territory.
-
I've seen Sam decks run Blue Tassels to protect from capture, but otherwise I don't think territory protection is very prominent (though I don't play any Sam decks myself).
-
Protection from capture would hurt this idea a little but it's mostly protection from discard that I'm concerned about...
-
Considering the only two cards in the game that protect Heroes in territory from Discard are Hankies and Covenant with Josiah, neither of which see play, Discard at your leisure.
-
OK sounds good I'll put the defense up in the main post within a few minutes...
EDIT: Ok it's up
-
I'm not sure how often since they tend to have so many heros but some use healing. Possibly the Cov but more likely Brass Serpent. So that might be an issue if you're trying to use Wrath or Great Image. Cov with Death could help against that though (and so much more).
-
I'm sure some decks use Chariots of Fire, though I prefer Brass Serpent.
I'd drop DD, Writ, Desolate Gateways, Land Purchase and maybe RBD. You probably want to add a few more battle winners...

Done, but which battle winners are you thinking here?
-
Korah's Rebellion is really nice due to getting rid of access sites, as well as being an interrupt. Threatened Lives will work in combination with King Omri.
-
Ok that sounds good. Would Korah's rebellion alone be good enough? I'm trying to get it smaller. Plus remember that King Nadab can recur stuff.
-
Needs a Writ. And no Image of Jealousy?

Wraith told me to take it out, frankly I agree with him here, I've got a lot of other arts that are more important to have active. As for Image of Jealousy, I feel it's rather redundant, I've got Gold Calf and CwD to negate SAs already.
-
Korah's Rebellion should be enough.
The problem with Writ is that there's so much protection from capture, as well as banding. The most it does is force them into a certain situation, and frankly HHI and CwD can do that better.
-
How does this look for a possible offense? The idea would be to start side battles with Visions and Sword of the Lord to make use of Ram with Two horns, and Haman.
5 Heroes: Isaiah, Micah, King Hezekiah, Seraph w/ Live Coal, Cherubim,
5 Enhancements: Live Coal, Isaiah’s call, Visions, Sword of the Lord, Provisions
1 Art: Chariot of Fire
1 Fort: Obadiah's Caves
EDIT: with lost souls and 11 doms that makes for a 63 card deck.
-
perhaps an ANB to shuffle your Samarias back into your deck? And no hidden treasures?
-
It would be nice to find a way to add a pale green character and Dou to shuffle Samaria.

It would be nice to shuffle my Samarias back into deck but I'm trying to keep it at 63 cards.
EDIT: I made room for HT thanks for the suggestion red Wing :)

I originally had planned for Manny, Damsel, Charms and Dou, but I ended up cutting them. Any idea on what to switch up?
Basically the issue for me is card slots, there's a lot that I want in here but very little space. I'll edit the first post with a complete deck outline, maybe that will help things get into order.
