Using both is good. The best way to counter speed is to use a fast balanced deck (Judges, Genesis or Red/Purple on offense) with at least two of RBD, HSR, and CwD, in addition to Naz.

I like it because you can discard it to discard al their Disciples in Boat Disciples, while strong and certainly viable, isn't currently being used too much. DD saw a lot of use last season, but it won't be nearly as popular this year.Quote from: Minister Polarius on September 28, 2011, 11:48:23 AMUsing both is good. They're both extremely offense heavy, and Genesis with a gold defense would be considered speed in the conventional sense, and purple/red is just speed to begin with.
The main problem with RBD is that it's vulnerable to DoN. Lampy solves this problem, but you'll need to draw all three cards required before a speed deck draws DoN, or wins. Pigs is also nice, but since most themes already have a D3 hero, it's not perfect. The main issue with counters to speed is that you'll need to draw them early on in the game, before the speed really gets going. In other words, you'll also need a speed deck.
