I hope you are joking, Philistines are not that difficult to stop.
yeah they have some neat tricks, but they still fall to the numerous CBN battle whiners(winners, whatever), FBTN chains(Except TFG who can be effectively dealt with). I know this because I play Philistines a lot and they still lose to some of the common offenses. Now I am no Gabe but I know my way around a deck. Philistines are not Broken. Babylonians IMO are equally effective, yet I see no cries to ban them.
The thing is with PO is that means 12fg no matter how well dealt with, will come back against FBTNB chains, cbn does have power but that means you'd need 3-4 cbn ITB cards etc. The main issue with Philistines is recur-able immunity, no other brigade has that. IMO Babylonians are MUCH deadlier than Philistines because they can capture defense but Philistines are no slack off either.
still, that's two rounds your opponent would leave you alone. and if your opponent attacked with Phineas you could play it as an Enh. and still pull off Mask and Wrath
oh...tis true. but i use sites in my Philly deck so Satan's Seat would do do the trick. tho i dont remember Satans Seat being part of the original scenario...
