Zagunis lost and didn't even medal and our men's epeeist lost in the final 4 with no medal. Very sad. But US fencing is better than it used to be when I was growing up so that is good.
Didn't see any NBC coverage on the most interesting fencing story so far---the women's epee semis where they were tied and there were 3 scores in a one second timeframe!!! THAT is something truly amazing. And quite impossible. I looked at that on youtube. Hope they change the way they timekeep to stop that nonsense.
