No, championships do matter. Manning has consistently had more and better weapons than Brady has, yet Brady has consistently gone farther in the playoffs than Manning. Manning puts up technically better stats, but at the end of the day, it's Brady who's brought his team to more championships. I'm not saying that rings are the be-all end-all of the sport, but we're talking about four to one here.
If this superbowl solidified anyone as a GOAT, it's clear who'd that be.
Brady shouldn't be mvp, he made a lot of mistakes that game.

Seriously, he had a 74% completion, he set the record for completions in a SB, posted a 101 passer rating, and broke the record for career SB TD passes, all coming against the same defense that Peyton Manning looked hopeless against.
