Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
now the real reason why i posted this thread is this: who is your favorite to win the superbowl?
I detest both teams. But I'll root for the Giants.

... they have to face against a rival city to New England, or better known as "Boston".
Quote from: New Raven BR on January 24, 2012, 06:34:14 PM... they have to face against a rival city to New England, or better known as "Boston". New England is comprised of six states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. The Boston is a city in only one of those states.
Quote from: New Raven BR on January 24, 2012, 06:34:14 PM... they have to face against a rival city to New England, or better known as "Boston".The reason that I mention this (other than the obvious pet peeve) is that northern New Englanders tend to favor the Boston teams, but the southern New Englanders (wow, "southern" New Englander sounds like an oxymoron) tend to favor New York City teams. Vermont fans prefer whichever team is on their favorite flavor of Ben & Jerry's. -------------------In response to your last question:GO PATRIOTS !! (I was born in Maine so I root for the Patriots and Red Sox.)
I disagree with this statement. New England is comprised of six states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. The Boston is a city in only one of those states.
sure in baseball Boston and New York have an intense rivalry but it reached out into football and other sports.
Gillette Stadium lies within the greater Boston area. Despite being called the "New England" Patriots, they are as much a Boston team as the Red Sox are.
Sweet, now it's the Hartford Partiots. Too bad I hate them.

So we have nothing new this year. Patriots win again. Rest of the country tries to make excuses to why they won Boston and New York play for a championship again. Everyone west of the Mississippi (except Vegas) will be watching the game just like every year and eating delicious party food. We don't even need to watch the Super Bowl to see the commercials. We can just watch them online.
Quote from: STAMP on January 25, 2012, 09:49:16 AMSo we have nothing new this year. Patriots cheat again. Boston and New York play for a championship again. East-coast bias becomes as nauseating as ever. Everyone west of the Mississippi (except Vegas) will be happily watching reruns of something while enjoying all sorts of delicious party food. We don't even need to watch the Super Bowl to see the commercials. We can just watch them online. FTFY
