We Red Sox fans just wish we had a closer. 

sadly, all good things must come to an end and so the depature it was of Jonathon Papelbon to the phillies who aren't doing so hot this year with a new closer and a new manager. but the Red Sox have been doing very well and just beat the rays yesterday and the cardials are looking RED HOT so far this season and the Red Sox's offense looks real sharp this season and this pleases me but sadly about yesterday, my Los Angelos Angels lost to the yankees and pujols isn't doing too great but im giving him time this is just the start of the season, he has a long road ahead of him and it gives him plenty of time to get comfortable in a Angels uniform and get warmed up to smack some right out of the ballpark

On a side note, I wanted to give a shout-out to the first-place Orioles.

big deal if the oreos are in first place. it's just the start of the season. don't get too excited, it's nowhere near October yet

How about you let a sad miserable franchise enjoy the limelight for ten seconds?

thing of it is, the orioles aren't even a miserable baseball franchise, their actually a pretty good team but "this" one strikes (no pun intended) me as miserable:



i've seen them on tv even as the Florida Marlins, and i have to say, they are the most pathetic team i've seen in major league baseball. they hardly ever fill in the bleachers in their feild, they have a very short fan-base, and im just gonna come right on out and say it, Baltimore is BETTER then Miami in baseball

The point, you missed it. Team hasn't made the playoffs since 1997 let them enjoy their 15 minutes of shared division lead, no need to be a jerk about it just because you don't care about the team.

i wasn't trying to be a jerk about it. and if you look at the differences in times, when i posted about the orioles, it was around 10 hours since he posted

I respect a man who can admit his mistakes and apologize.
I agree that Raven is NOT a jerk, and lp should have focused his criticism on the comment, not the person.
I also agree that the comment itself was uncalled for, and it's nice for the Orioles fans to have something to be proud of.

trust me korunks, the only thing that will be sinking in that game between bills and titans, will be the bills chances of winning that game over the titans. need i remind me of the "music city miracle". the titans will ALWAYS find a way to beat the bills cause in the end, they always do and all i have to say is: GO TITANS!!!!

Trash talk all you want, doesn't change the fact that you should not under estimate the bills.

I know!  Just when I think I'm free of them, more come in the mail the next day.
