I am in a Keeper league for fantasy football. Below is my roster, who would you keep? I didn't list K or Def for obvious reasons.
RBs
Adrian Peterson
Marion Barber
Fred Jackson
Felix Jones
Roy Helu
Chris Johnson
Kevin Smith
WRs
Santonio Holmes
DeSean Jackson
Santana Moss
QBs
Peyton Manning
Matt Shaub
Eli Manning
Philip Rivers
TE
Vernon Davis

How many keepers?
-
CJ3K For sure, the second one I'm torn on - Probably Eli though, it depends on how long AP is out for.
-
Depends on the scoring settings.
If they favor QB: Eli Manning
If they don't: Chris Johnson
-
If this were any other season I would say CJ3K but considering how inconsistent he was, and utterly useless for the first half of the season, I would go with Fred Jackson. Don't worry Buffalo won't be getting a pass game any time soon, our ownership still thinks Ryan Fitzpatrick is the answer, and he accounted for over 60% of the offense when he played. He'll be back for training camp and it's not an injury that's generally thought of as "nagging" or one that makes him injury prone.

I agree with lp, Fred Jackson should be first keeper. After that, either Johnson or Peterson. They have both been elite in the past, but one struggled with inconsistency this year and the other just had a major knee injury. Kinda tough to project where they are going to be next year. Jackson's much more certain.

Consider though that although Jackson should come back from injury just fine, Buffalo now knows that CJ Spiller can get the job done. I think the same thing happens to Jackson as what happened to Ryan Grant of GB. Grant came back to a time share with Starks. I think the same thing happens to Jackson/Spiller.

We've always known that, unlike Sparks Spiller was a first round draft pick. 9th overall in fact. We got rid of Marshawn Lynch for him (which was stupid). Jackson is the #1 guy, Spiller will do exactly what he did when Jackson was healthy this season we'll split him out as a wide receiver and use two back sets.

Phillip Rivers.

I would keep Adrian, but he got injured. :-\

For quarterbacks keep Eli Manning
