So what do you Minnesota fans think of the trade?

I think he resigns with the Twins in the offseason. I think this is a good trade for everyone.

If he doesn't resign, that's sad. Morneau and Cuddyer were pretty much the face of the Twins (with Mauer)

While I would love to see that, if Morneau helps take the Pirates to the playoffs and beyond, I somewhat doubt he'd want to resign with the Twins. After as good of a career as he's had playing for a team that can't get out of the first round (and can't even get close to there for the past few years) I think he'd rather take a serious pay cut to play for a contending team than a serious pay cut to play for the Twins.
