Yeah, he's loved, I also love Matt Leinart, I also do not want Matt Leinart on the Bills because he's not good. Tebow is beloved for his accolades in college, not the pros.
He was a better quarterback than Tebow, that's why he beat out Tebow for the starting job.
Where's his chance that the world supposedly owes him because he won a national title in college?

These fans are maniacal, like teenage girls in love with Justin Beiber, except these are adults - really scary, I know.
your assumption that no other fan base is capable of loving their players the way that yours does is blatant homerism.
All fanbases have rabid fans.
And, as I said before, it's really easy to root for a former college player to succeed when he's not on your favorite team and you don't care about the consequences of an inferior player starting.
I would also love Tim Tebow to have been the starter for the Patriots, that would have made my day for very different reasons.
It's not a lack of Offensive coordinator ability that limits tebow that's an excuse tebow a talent and throwing motion limit tebow period.
Why should I try to create a gimmick offense for one player they may or may not work if I can take a player and plug him into a proven system and get results?
