Title: 3000 For Jeter
Post by: Sean on July 10, 2011, 09:57:44 AM
I am surprise the Yankee fans haven't posted anything about this yet.  For those that don't know, Derek Jeter hit his 3000th hit last night with a home run.  He was 5 for 5 on the day.  Below is an article about the man who got the home run ball for 3000.

That would require:
#1 - that there be people here who are Yankees fans
#2 - that these people wouldn't be too ashamed to admit it

P.S.  I am actually proud of Jeter for hitting 3000 times with the same team, and doing it without steroids.  That is impressive regardless of what team you play for.

I'm a proud Yankee-despiser, but I support this message.   ;)

I reluctantly do as well. I was surprised to hear, however, that with the Yankees' storied history, that Jeter was the first one to achieve this feat.

That we know of. He's a pro baseball player it's pretty much always safe to assume they've used them at some point

every time the media parades that someone finally did it without steroids, it comes out a week later that actually, yeah he did do steroids.
