I dont know if this has been asked but....
If she blocks a male hero and you play Moses Kills Egyption, which interupts the battle and sets him aside, does the character ability take place before the enhancement?

Interrupt means it is stopping it for a little bit. The enhancement would work then.

Potiphar's Wife defeated the hero she originally blocked, so he goes to your opponent's Land of Bondage.

The Hero she originally blocked is no longer in play to be captured.

I always thought Pot's Wife was an "instead" kind of ability. However, I have been wrong plenty of times before.

It is, but you can't "instead" something that's been removed from play. See also: Ark of the Covenant, etc.

I realize that this is wrong, but hear my logic out:

1. Male hero RA
2. Pot's Wife blocks
3. Moses Kills Egyptian interrupts PW's SA and sets hero aside.
4. PW's SA reactivates, sees no hero, says "I win" and the "defeated hero" is placed in LOB.

I realize that the set-aside hero is no longer in play, but neither would any hero that was discarded.

Yes, but here's the thing.

A rescues, so he's in battle
B blocks, so she's in battle
A is set aside, so he's not in play
B wins, so she does... um... wait... where did he go?

The reason it doesn't work with Heroes who just plain lose is that they remain in battle until the very end, and then Pot's Wife sends them to a new destination - the Land of Bondage - rather than the discard pile as the rules would state.

So in a settled loss or stalemate, she wins and captures them. If she wins by special ability, she captures if the Hero is still in the field of play to BE captured.

Pot's Wife can't capture a hero not in play any more following an ITB.
