If you allow your opponent’s ability to resolve which will remove your FS from battle, then you can use YWR. But if you choose to allow the Ark to instead the removal, then you can’t use YWR as YWR refers to an ability your opponent uses (Ark is your ability and is insteading the removal).
So the short answer to your question is no.
