What happens if an Evil Character is brought into battle by a hero?

In a battle with 1+ hero and 1+ EC, I believe any further characters are added to the side of the battle with their alignment.

Do you have a specific example?

Hey,

An evil character can only join an evil side of battle.  If there is no evil side of battle (i.e. a hero vs hero side battle) then you cannot bring evil characters into battle.

There's no errata to "good priest"

You can exchange an evil priest into your hand. You can only exchange a good priest into battle because of the game rules.
