Withdraw cards force or allow cards to leave the Field of Battle (see Withdraw in the glossary). The target and destination for withdrawal is specified on the withdrawal card. The most frequent use of withdrawal cards is to return a card to a player’s hand or territory. Other withdrawal cards provide your opponent with an option to replace the withdrawn card. Once a card has withdrawn from battle, it can only return to the battle if the withdrawal card is interrupted or negated (see Withdraw in the glossary). Cards that allow the holder to exchange cards with another card are not considered to withdraw from battle (see Search, Reveal, or Exchange).
