So I was curious since I’m looking at coming back to the game and seeing the new NJ Promo:
What happens when NJ copies a “Place” effect? Does it stay permanently or only for the Phase?

New Jerusalem
Good Dominant
Copy the last Good Dominant played this Phase.

The Three Woes
Good/Evil Dominant
Place in Territory: Negate a card of a different alignment than this card for one round. Each Upkeep: Negate a card of a different Alignment than this card for one Round.

According to my understanding of Copy: No.

Since REG states for Copy (amongst others):
Quote
Unless otherwise specified, copy effects on a card played outside of battle last until the end of the phase in which they are activated.
According to answer I got at the discord rulings channel Doms played during battle are also considered as played "outside of battle" (which I already assumed).

But maybe someone more experienced then me can confirm or correct.

Reth is correct.

Doms are played outside of battle (they're just "in play" AFAIK), so the copy only lasts through that phase. That's actually better than if they were played in battle, since copying a "place in territory" would remove the card from battle and immediately end the copy.

Good. I wanted to be sure that was the case since the last time I was playing “copy” was more in the “it exists but is generally never used” category of effects (like redirect and defeat keywords)
