win the battle?

Could someone define what would be considered winning the battle? For Abimelech specifically what conditions must be met for his ability to activate? Does it have to be clear cut I live you die, or can it be anything that constitutes a successful block?
Again thanks all for your support.

Please review this thread on the Wiki which was copied from the REG and extrapolates on each winning/losing condition in battle.

So in essence, Abimelech's ability will activate if:
1. He wins by numbers or,
2. If he removes the hero(es) by a special ability.
My question now is the second part still valid in the case of cards like Joseph in prison or Zelophobads sin.
Furthermore, a stalemate would not activate his ability.
Also what about in the case of dominants, would that fall under 2 or since it isn't Abimelech's ability will it not trigger his ability.
The main thing I was confused about in my initial question is a mutual removal situation a win the battle scenario for Abimelech, and are there any other unusual situations that would count towards his ability, say like maybe a Deat of Firstborn and your new character(s) win the battle.
I'm sure this is confusing, so feel free to ask me to clarify.

1. and 2.: Correct. It doesn't matter what's causing the removal for number 2 (could be a dominant or an artifact, for example), if he's in battle and the heroes are removed by special ability then he would "win" the battle.

Stalemates are actually a successful block (as a Soul is not rescued) so Abimelech WOULD trigger in case of a stalemate.

I don't know offhand if Abimelech is considered a delayed trigger (as long as he's not negated, his ability will trigger on a successful block even if he's no longer in battle) or if it requires him to be present in battle to trigger. As such, I'm not sure on the questions about mutual destruction or Death of Firstborn.

Thank you browarod! :D

FTFY ;) Now I'm getting mentioned when I'm not even in the threads  8)

EDIT: Just noticed browarod's last question.  He is activated, and thus if he wins a battle, it still happens to my knowledge.  I'll try to confirm that when I get home.

Apparently I'm just an extension of you now. ;)

That's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure.

Whoops, I mix up names all the time, I apologize. As is, thank you both.
Apparently I should look over what I write several times.
