Is The Foretelling Angel's ability to "Play with the top card of deck face up" considered a reveal?

The Foretelling Angel
Protect deck from discard. Play with the top card of deck face up: While it's a Daniel card, Daniel Characters cannot be negated. If it's a Daniel card, you may add it to hand. Cannot be negated.

Based upon the REG's definition and explanation of Reveal I would say it is.

Was there a particular scenario you were thinking of where this would be a specific issue?

The only thing I can think of off hand is the Lost Soul that lets you search your deck if a good reveal ability was used during battle, which would only matter if The Foretelling Angel actually went into battle or was put in play during battle (say with Wheel Within a Wheel).

If it does count as a reveal then it would be a separate instance of reveal each time the top of the deck changed. However, reveal as an ability is an instant effect that only stay revealed until the player has given "all opponents ample time to observe the revealed card". This is an ongoing effect that leaves the top of the deck face up (note it doesn't say reveal the top of deck) continuously as long as TFA is in play. I'm not sure that this counts as a reveal at all for the purposes of cards that trigger if you use a reveal ability (such as a the Dull Lost Soul).
