Numbers 15:32-33
"And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.  And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation."

Not sure why this guy is not considered unique/specific.  He was the one & only person that is mentioned in the verses.  If it's merely because he is not named, the Amalekite's Slave doesn't have a name either.  Any ideas?

Generous widow is a great comparison... except she's listed as Unique (at least on Redemption Live!)
But I understand your reasoning.   Does it then become a case by case basis or is there some guiding rational?

The key difference is not found in the verse but rather in the name printed on the card.

The difference between Sabbath breaker and the generous widow is the word "the"

A unique character that does not have a specific name has "The" in front of it to indicate uniqueness, whereas a generic character lacks "The".

That's an indicator that it's not, but it's not the actual reason.

My best guess is that they opted to go in the same direction they did for Syrian Archer and the like. While the verse itself refers to a specific person, when the card was made, they wanted the card to refer to everyone within that category, and they simply picked a verse that only referenced a specific person, instead of a generic group.
