i heard that there was a new fortress that protected characters from shuffle.
if i played anb would my characters be shuffled or not?

The fortress was made 3 sets ago (House in Rimmon), unless you mean Nazareth (it's a site).
Nazareth only protects from opponents but House in Rimmon would protect you from your own ANB.
