Who is removed?

Scenario:

My opponent makes a rescue attempt with a 3/3 blue guy.  I block with Goliath.  They play Obedience of Noah and choose a 1/1 guy to block.  I then play Achan's Sin to win the battle.  What characters are left?

Since Achan's Sin interrupts Obedience, does that switch Goliath back into battle?  If so, Achan's Sin will still complete, right?

You can't interrupt an instant ability; thus, whatever is in battle at the time this is played is what's removed.

What? That's completely wrong. Otherwise you couldn't play Sign of the Rainbow against Rizpah's Sackcloth (discard is an instant ability).

Right Tim.  You can't interrupt an instant ability if it is on a character and it doesn't cause the removal of the opponent's character.

This however is an enhancement and the rules for interrupt the battle mention that it interrupts the last enhancement played by opponent.

That's what I meant.

You're both right in a sense. You normally cannot interrupt an instant ability(for example, you can't play achin's sin to interrupt Gabriel's ability). But you can if your character is being removed. So.... since it's yi in the side battle, and your character was removed, you can play an interrupt or negate. However, if it was still the heroe's initiative after he chose the blocker, and then played like trapped in cleverness, you couldn't play an interrupt on the original ec.

I have no idea what y'all are saying, but as to the original question:

Achan’s Sin
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 1 / 1 • Class: None • Special Ability: Interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Joshua 7:25 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Rare)

ItB interrupts the last enhancement played (Obedience of Noah), which puts Goliath back into battle, and removes blue hero and Goliath from the game. Achan's Sin must complete before the interrupt ends, so there is no "check" for brigade color match. The battle ends as a failed RA. The 1/1 pale green guy goes back from whence he came.

Correct. I was stating that if they had picked another 10/10 guy, and still had initiaitve, then played trapped in cleverness to capture them, Goliath cannot play anything and you would have to play an interrupt or negate on the new guy in battle. Goliath can play something, like an interrupt, cause it's yi and he's being removed.
