Hi there,

according to the Cactus web site for me it is the "4th Edition Redemption Rulebook".
But this version does not mention the upkeep phase any more? Has this been removed?

I am asking since I wonder whether which phase are currently valid and have to be passed each turn?
In particular: Is there any phase like upkeep phase between draw and preparation phase?

Thank you for a short response and hopefully a link or clarification where the currently valid rules can be downloaded from (in REG 5.0 and ORDIR I could not find anything about upkeep or phases order in general - the latest description I got out of the 10th Anniversary Rulebook!).

The 4th Edition rulebook is current, but too streamlined - no upkeep phase, incomplete prep phase. It mentions a 4th Edition Expanded Rulebook, which I don't think we have yet.

There is an Upkeep Phase - it's under U in the REG Glossary. (Oddly enough, there's no entry for Preparation Phase.)

This is probably the most up-to-date description of the phases.

I recall plans being mentioned a while back for a new rulebook to be released with 5.0, was this scrapped, still coming soon^(tm) or am I imagining things?

There was a plan to release an updated rulebook alongside REG 5.0 [...] [but] we needed to start focusing our time and energy on the next expansion so the rulebook project is on the backburner for now.

What is the planned method of getting it out there? Will it be sold separately or maybe be included in the K/L starters (whenever they get released)?

Depending on what is needed for the rulebook, I'm sure you can find a volunteer to work on that.  Of course I don't know anyone who would want to!
