1.) If your are making a battle challenge with John and your opponent has the Lady Only LS available can they HT "because the Lady LS is not in play" and get another LS out to make it a R A?

2.)  If you make a rescue attempt with Adam and Eve and a Crimson evil character throws Deceit of Sapphira and then you play Council of Abigal - does this still discard all cards?

3.) Can SoG and NJ played simultaneously rescue the 3 line soul instantaneously?   

To clarify:

1. No, because the LS is still in play, the hero just does not have access.
2. Yes (for redirect), because the SA still targets all cards in battle.
3. Yes, as long as an opponent has not already half-rescued it.
