In Game questions regarding this fortress.

When can cards be placed into it?
Can you remove cards from it and put into your hand like Storehouse?
What happens to cards in MC if fortress' abilities are negated?
If the Tuba player plays to loud, can he be discarded?

1. Since it doesn't specify I believe you can place/remove cards during Prep phase.
2. I believe so but I'm not 100% sure.
3. Same as with any other fortress, they just sit there. You cannot use them there as though from hand anymore but the "holds" aspect is an identifier and cannot be negated.
4. That is up to the music director's, I mean the tournament host's discretion.

I second browarod's opinion except on the matter of the tuba player; you never get rid of the tuba player.

Has the default for fortresses changed? You used to only be able to take characters in and out of fortresses during Prep Phase.

YMT is correct. You can only add/remove in Prep phase, unless the fortress specifies otherwise.
