Title: Ways to make your opponent cry...
Post by: Chronic Apathy on September 16, 2008, 06:30:49 PM
If I don't have any cards in my draw pile, and my opponent makes a RA with her, do I have to discard two cards? Her SA is "All players must discard two cards from hand and draw two cards. Cannot be negated."

You want evil?  Force your opponent to rescue with The Generous Widow while you have Rain Becomes Dust activated.   ;D

My good Mr. Stamp, that does sound really evil... reads Rain Becomes Dust... oh, maybe not.  :P

Rain Becomes Dust
Type: Curse • Brigade: Grey • Ability: 1 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: All cards that an opponent draws because of a special ability used by that opponent are revealed instead. Place all revealed Lost Souls in opponent’s territory. Discard the rest.

If you play Lies and make them use Generous Widow to rescue, that's a SA on a card they're using. Right? This is how I've been playing Obedience + Sabbath Breaker + Rain Becomes Dust...

Pair that with samsons sac to leave them with one ec, then let them d/c their hand as judge's seat keeps targeting it.

This thread's making me feel guilty now. If it helps, I didn't pull of the RbD combo at Nationals. Although I hope now everyone's going to be using Gold/Gold decks with RbD. Because they should.

I prefer to call them Gold/Yellow decks.   ;)
I named mine gold/gold. Really is fun :D hero-lite ftw.

I don't use RBD in my goldy deck its over kill with the plethora of deck d/c I got. That and using gen widow 4+ times when they are decked > lies to make them d/c 2 off deck/2 out of hand IMO.

Here's a way to make your opponent cry: hit him/her in the face. Hard.

Have fun and be safe!
