Title: Watcher - special ability
Post by: emonier on April 11, 2018, 12:45:54 PM
WATCHER:  If an evil character was or is currently set aside, shuffle that evil character back into owner's draw pile. Discard the set aside card(s).

Q: The first part makes sense, but what about the second part: "Discard the set aside cards." What? The first part said SHUFFLE the EC, but now it says discard. Which one is it? Or, perhaps it is talking about the REST of the set aside cards (e.g. heroes?). Why doesn't it say "discard the REMAINING set aside cards"? that would be much easier to understand.

Am I reading this right?  Please advise.

Thank you,

E

The cards it discards are the cards that originally set the EC aside. Nowadays it really doesn't do much since that kind of set aside card gets discarded on use now anyway.

^Correct.

Set aside enhancements used to be set aside with the character. That is no longer the case so that second ability is irrelevant.
