Does Unthwarted only work if you have exactly Job in play as your only human Hero or does it just work as long as you have no humans out besides him?

Unthwarted: "If Job is the only human Hero you control, negate and discard an evil card."

You have to control job and he can be the only human hero you control

If Job is in The Fortress Dust & Ashes do you still control him?
