Can John the Baptist search discard for sowing the seed?

John the Baptist: Negate special abilities on Lost Souls and O.T. Fortresses. Search discard pile for one green convert Enhancement and Place it on deck.


Sowing the seed, green: Selected human Evil Character decreases 2/2 per turn. at */0 or less, Character becomes a green brigade hero with abilities (*/0) at face value. Then sowing the seed is placed on another human Evil Character in territory and continues.


Would the "becoming of a green brigade hero" be considered a "convert"?
