I have posted multiple threads about Goliath's items and only gotten ummmmmmmmm...'s.

Q1: Can Goliath hold his armor and his spear?

Q2: Can Goliath hold multiple copies of his armor and his spear?

Q3: Can Goliath hold multiple copies of his armor and his spear at the same time?

Goliath's Spear (Ki)

Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Black • Ability: 3 / 2 • Class: Weapon • Special Ability: Worth 8/10 if used by a giant. Goliath may retain as a weapon until discarded. • Play As: Increase abilities on this card to 8/10 if used by a giant. If played on Goliath, he may hold Goliath's Spear as a weapon until discarded. • Identifiers: OT, Depicts a Weapon, must be played as enhancement on Goliath in battle to be retained

My guess would be that Goliath can hold a weapon and Goliath's armor if he was holding the weapon first and then the armor was played in battle. Also that he can hold multiple copies of his armor at the same time. I don't think he can do the same with the spear though since it says that he can retain it as a weapon since you can only hold one weapon at a time.

I would agrue that the Warrior-Class Goliath can only hold one weapon, period. Both abililties say "as a weapon," which means they follow Weapon-Class rules. These rules did not apply previously because Goliath was not Warrior-Class. Now that he is WC, he must follow normal rules for weapons on WC characters.

Goliath's Armor doesn't say as a weapon. That is why I claimed it was different than Goliath's spear.

You are bolding the "Play As," which unfortunately does not apply.

I'll agree with YMT until someone proves us wrong.
