I just want to make sure
In type one, can you have more than one character if its generic in your deck? If you can have more than one of the same generic character, can you have them in play at the same time?
If so, how many of the same character can you have in play or how many can you have in your deck?

So, i know that legion has a specific identifier on it, but with others like angry mob and stuff, i'm pretty sure they follow the same rules. I'm like 50% sure on that :P less than a grain of salt should be taken with this. ;)

In a less than 100 card deck you can only have one unless it says you can have more.  If it is a no special ability card I think you might be able to have up to 4.  Yes you can always have  multiple generic characters in play at the same time.

If the generic characters have different artwork, you can have one of each version in a deck of 50-99 cards.

For example you can have one of each Pharisees (3 versions), Sadduccees (4 versions) or Elders of Jerusalem (3 versions) in your deck.

I believe any card without a special ability has a limit of 3.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Ok, i wasn't sure if it was that, or you could have one version, but four of them. Thanks for clearing that up!

Nope- like has been said, in T1 you can only have multiple copies of generics if there is different artwork or the card specifies that you can run more than 1 copy (like Legion). In T2, you can have up to 4 copies of generic characters with unique artwork (if they're just 1 brigade).
