Two questions

With the Revealer Soul, who chooses the order the cards go on the bottom?

I have CWD up and attack with Aaron. My opponent blocks with Prince of this World. Aaron plays Siegeworks (I have Survivor in territory). PotW negates with Deafening Spirit.
A) Is DS negated by CWD?
B) Can Aaron negate with Live Coal?
ANB is good. Change my mind.

I believer the person who drew the Revealer decides the order.

I know Live Coal won't work because by the time it's ability finishes, it is no longer an enhancement and thus not a valid target. I believe that CwD won't negate DS because it wasn't a character until it's ability has finished and the negate and discard aren't ongoing so there is nothing to negate.

I agree with Praeceps on both accounts. My reasoning for the second one being that DS cannot indirectly negate itself so CwD wouldn't affect it.

Sorry to you both, but the Revealer ruling given is incorrect.

Whoever is doing a reveal-and-place chooses the order, and in the case of Revealer it says "When you draw this card, each opponent must reveal the top two cards of his draw pile. Place each revealed Lost Soul in owner’s Land of Bondage. Place the rest beneath owner’s draw pile."  It has been ruled that, since the opponent is the one doing the reveal, they choose the order.

This is different for cards like Gideon's Call and Fishers of Men, where "you" reveal the cards and place.

For the question on Deafening Spirit, this comes up now and then, but the ruling we have right now is that once it changes to a character, anything negating characters does not undo that change; likewise, you can't negate it as an enhancement, since it is no longer one.  Instead, if you played something that negates an evil card, which it is in both forms, that could work.

Same sort of thing with Am Slave.  If you have the FBTN soul out, capturing Am Slave wouldn't be undone once it turns into a soul.  However, if you played something that negated all capture abilities, it would be undone since the target is valid regardless of form.

Hope that makes sense.

And, I believe you can choose if you wish to make Deafening Spirit an evil character, just for future reference. Not that that is very useful, though...

Ah. I knew the revealer was different from Gid's call etc. but I couldn't remember which was which. So, I took the 50/50 chance...

Dang. I definitely red Praeceps' post wrong. What I thought it said was the person who's doing the revealing gets to choose, not the one who drew the trailer as Redoubter said.
